On March 11 at around 6pm the Middlebury Fire Dept. Technical Rescue team was dispatched to assist The Bristol fire department with locating two lost hikers.  Bristol Fire Department located the hikers along with VT Fish and Game.  It was determined that the MFD Technical Rescue team would need to rescue the victims from the high angle cliff.  Both hikers were removed from the cliffs by Middlebury Technical Rescue with the assistance of Bristol Fire Dept. and VT Fish and Game. All parties made it safely out of the woods with no injuries.

The Fire Department Chef's prepared a venison Chili for the VT Chili festival held last weekend.  The event was attended by 5000 people.  The Fire Departments Venison Chili won 1st place in the Game Catagory. 

On January 16 at 8 am the Middlebury Fire Department responded to Foote Street for a single car roll over.  No major injurys were reported. 

After the third convening of the Fire Station Committee the plans have been finalized for both Station One and Station Two.
