The Middlebury Fire Department and Battell Hose Company (BHC) held their joint annual awards banquet on December 2, 2017 at the American Legion Post 27 in Middlebury. The dinner was attended by current, former, and life members of the Middlebury Fire Department, as well as by the members of the board of directors of the Battell Hose Company, and guests.
Life and current members, along with members of the BHC board, received challenge coins.
Mark Bouvier, retired chief of the Bristol Fire Department and Tom Estey, chief of the Starksboro Fire Department were awarded honorary membership in the department.
