You are allowed to burn brush, garden waste and untreated wood only. You are not allowed to burn treated or painted wood or any type of plywood or laminated wood, plastics, hazardous materials, rubbish/trash or large trees or stumps. You must have a permit issued the day of the burn, because of variable weather conditions or state fire warnings no permits will be issued ahead of time. If you need to burn another day, you must get a new permit. In evaluating whether or not an open burning permit is permitted, the fire warden or his assistant considers:
3. The proximity of any structure in relationship to where the burning will take place. 4. Availability of Resource Park or disposal alternatives.
